CAPTCHA Settings
This setting prompts users to enter a CAPTCHA code on the ADManager Plus login screen, helping prevent automated bot-based logon attempts.
Steps to enable CAPTCHA
- Log in to ADManager Plus.
- Navigate to Delegation > Configuration > Logon Settings.
- Click the General tab.
- Select Enable CAPTCHA on login page.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Always show CAPTCHA
Use this option to enable the CAPTCHA to be displayed for every ADManager Plus logon attempt.
- Show CAPTCHA for invalid logon attempts
If you select this option, the user will be prompted to enter the CAPTCHA after failed logons. You can further specify:
- The number of invalid logon attempts after which the user must be prompted to enter the CAPTCHA.
- The time limit after which the invalid logon attempts limit must be reset.
- You can also Enable Audio CAPTCHA.
Note:When audio CAPTCHA is enabled, only digits will be shown. If the browser does not support audio CAPTCHA, the standard CAPTCHA with letters and numbers will be displayed instead.
- Click Save Settings.
Technician Logon Settings
This setting allows you to block technicians after a specific number of failed logon attempts to strengthen security and prevent brute-force attacks.
Steps to block technicians
- Navigate to Delegation > Configuration > Logon Settings.
- Click the General tab.
- Under Technician Logon Settings, enable the Block technician after invalid login attempts check box.
- Configure the following:
- Invalid attempts limit: Enter the maximum number of consecutive bad logins that you wish to permit.
- Within: Enter the period within which the specified number of bad login attempts must happen.
- Block technician for: Specify the time for which the user account must remain blocked.
Note: The domain’s Account Lockout Policy will override these settings in the following cases:

- Click Save Settings.
Mobile Application Settings
This setting allows administrators to enable or restrict access to ADManager Plus through its official Android and iOS mobile apps.
Login Page Settings
This setting allows administrators to customize the ADManager Plus login screen by enabling options that enhance user convenience while maintaining secure authentication.
- Show Forgot password? option on login page: Enable this option to provide technicians with a quick way to reset their password using a link on the login page.
- Show Remember Me option on login page: Enable this option to allow technicians to save login credentials for faster access in future sessions.
- Show Log on to option on login page: Enable this option to allow technicians to select the domain or instance they want to log in to.
- Disable Concurrent Login: Enable this option to prevent technicians from logging in from multiple sessions or devices simultaneously, improving session security.
- Show Disclaimer: Enable this option to display a customizable legal or policy disclaimer message before login.
- Click Customize to open the customization pop-up where you can edit the disclaimer settings shown on the login page.
